POS shows "failed transaction"

Problem

Terminal shows a failed transaction message.

This error appears for various reasons:

  • Wrong password entered by the customer.

  • Insufficient balance in the customer’s WeChat / Alipay wallet.

  • Insufficient balance in the customer’s bank account.

  • Payment amount exceeds a transaction limit(s).

Solution

Here are some possible solutions:

  1. Ask the customer to reenter the password.

  2. Suggest the customer use another card option.

If the above does not work, get in touch by opening a support ticket.
