Other settings
There are some other important options to know about within the app.
Display the QR code to the customer
The first option is called “Display the QR code to customer instead of scanning it from customer”. As we’ve already mentioned, there are two possible workflows in WeChat and Alipay payments:
The merchant can display the QR code, which the customer scans
The customer can display the QR code, which the merchant scans
This switch controls the default workflow. However, it is also possible to choose the other workflow during the transaction:
Rotate camera
The third option allows you to rotate your camera’s view if you have problems reading a QR code on your device. The scanned image is inverted, so use this option to revert it back to the proper way of reading the QR code if needed.
This is especially important for refunds, where you must be able to scan the customer’s QR code correctly.
